Default 8900 Problems

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone! I am a new member and I have a question. I have been a Blackberry owner since Feb09. I am now working on my second blackberry. The first one had a battery drained my battery to no end. I received my second one last week. This one has no texting icon on it and won't sync with my computer. Come to think of it the last phone stopped syncing with my computer all of a sudden( I own a mac) Is anyone out there having/had a similar problem and know how to fix it?

what do you use to sync?

texting icon? a "compose" icon? this is likely hidden in the applications folder.

At first I was able to sync it by just pluging the phone into the usb. Type In the password and the icon would show up on my desktop and I could just drag and drop from there. Now when you plug it and type in the password no Icon shows up no matter what I do.
