Default turning on Wifi only

Please Login to Remove!

as i do not have an unlimited data plan when I travel abroad,I had to turn off the BIS service(rates charged as very high, would bankrupt me)
However hotel i am currently staying offers Wifi service free of charge everywere.Unfortunatley since I turned BIS off ,wifi is not working
Is there any way in which I activate Wifi only on Javelin while keeping BIS off??

tnx

Wirelessly posted (MY 8900)

You activate the wifi in manage connections. Internet will still work once you handle the log-in screen from the hotel wifi ( if there is any)

Wifi will work without even having a SIM card in the device.

In Options->Mobile Network I have mine set to "Off when roaming" for my trips to the US, and I can connect just fine to the hotel WiFis.
