Default Youtube - An error has occurred atempting to play media

Please Login to Remove!

I know this has been a common issue with all models, but it worked great last night... today I am now getting the error.

I have an 8900, OS v4.6.1.109 on Cincinnati Bell

Ive tried hard resets, clearing cache and various settings.

Anyone know what gives?

And what common issue might that be? The one with all models...

Youtube is never very stable on blackberries. It seems to work on and off

Agree. Both Youtube and Facebook tend to be hard to work with on a BB. They either run all the time and drain the battery, don't work at all, or work sometime and not at others.

AFAIK, there isn't a real good solution yet either.

Noticed something strange this morning. I got to work, tried it again and it worked but buffered a lot, but Im on GPRS while at work due to being inside a large building. So it seems as if my issue is releated to being on EDGE vs GPRS. You would think it would work better on EDGE.

Agree 100%. Doesn't matter what I am using Edge/Wifi, very intermittent.

Old issue, no answer.

I get that same issue on my 8900 on cincinnati bell. I also notice that it is some videos too, but not all. I think I agree with the others about youtube not being stable on BBs. I know it has nothing to do with connection either, because the speed tests have stated that the 8900 on EDGE is faster than the BOLD on 3G. >
