Call Forwarding Issue 1 Attachment(s) Yesterday my 8900 started to act strange when I try to forward calls to my work cell, google voice number or even the TMO voice mail. I've attached a screen shot. Called TMO and they were able to set the forwarding for me, but when I cancelled it, I cannot get it back. I even tried the **21* number # sequence that doesn't work. Oh yeah, I did the usually reset, batt pull, etc. Using 4.6.1.168. Any thoughts? |
Wirelessly posted (MY 8900) Did u just try the key combos, or did you try changing it in phone options as well |
Both. Neither works. I'm just wondering if it's a SIM issue or if I need to wipe and re-install the OS or upgrade the OS. |
Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy) Wipe and re-install the os. (Sometimes, things are just dumb... This happens with all electronics) Also, call your carrier and have then reset the forwarding on their side. This will take care of your problems. |
I didn't want to do wipe and re-install. Guess I have no choice. |
Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy) I know how you feel. However, sometimes software is just stubborn with some things. |
Tried to upgrade to 4.6.1.231 and no luck Must be a TMO/account issue. I tried resending service books, too. |
An hour on the phone w/ TMO and a new SIM did the trick. |
