Default Can't find Internet Browser

Please Login to Remove!

I just bought a 8900 javelin unlocked T-mobile but I can't use the browser to view websites.
The only options are tzones (only with search-my account-downloads) and hot spot. Under host routing table there are "no entries".
I do not have a data plan and want to access the internet via my home wifi which I'm connected to, how can i do it? Is there a browser I can download off the internet and install it on my bb?
My chip is a t-mobile pay-as-you-go chip.

Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks

You need a BB data plan to get the BB Browser. It is part of the service books that are pushed when the data plan is provisioned. I suggest you do a search for info. Plus there is no pay-as-you-go BB data.

Your only option is to download/install one of the 3rd party browsers such as Opera Mini, which is at best a work around. Some get it to work, others do not.

I've done every search possible and it looks bleak. I'll give opera a go and see what happens. I take it it's the same for GPS? needs a subscription? Cause it's nowhere accessible in my menus.

GPS is just GPS, to USE GPS you need a maps application.
And MOST use data to download the maps are you move etc.

You need a BB data plan for most of the map applications, including BBMaps and Google Maps. There may be some instances of Google working on a generic data plan however.
