Ok so I just logged back onto the forums and its been probably a month or two since I've posted or even been on the site.

I skimmed through some of the titles of some threads about the OS 5.0?
Ever since I got my 8900, I've tried to update it once and thats when I had a little nervous breakdown when the update messed up during the transfer so I downgraded back to the default version 4.6.1.94, yeah I know hah old school OS! Well I've been to lazy to get up on the latest Blackberry knowledge.

In conclusion what is new with the OS 5.0? and I'm hearing I'd have to update my DM to 4.7 aswell?

Might want to check the Rumors section or do a search on OS 5

It's a very early beta and many popular applications don't work with it.
Use at your own risk.

Alright that's a good way to put it, I guess I'll stick with the default O.S
