Default Pin to Pin communication

How does the Pin to Pin Communication work? Say if two devices are already linked, does it mean that they'll be about to communicate no matter where each party is? If one of the berries is at a place with no reception, can they still communicate via the pin to pin communication?

Pin to pin does not "link" the two BlackBerrys.
No signal, no data, no PIN messages.

Its just like sending an email or a text without any character limits. The only difference is that instead of using an email address or phone number it usues the blackberry pin. They are sent through the blackberry data like an email. So as it said before, they are not anything special and if you have no service you won't be sending anything

Well there is the difference than PIN messages travel via the BlackBerry Network.

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

The key is they are talking to the devices and NOT relying on each email server
