Default Blackberry Messenger chat length has gotten shorter? - 06-30-2009, 06:53 PM

This is something very strange that I've noticed.

I upgraded from a 8120 to the 8900. I frequently have long blackberry messenger chats with my friend and after we finish talking, I normally hit Menu>Copy History, and I email myself and her copies for sentimental purposes. Since I got the 8900 I've noticed that BB messenger begins to truncate the chats very quickly. I find it very strange considering how much more memory it has as compared to the 8120, which could keep very very long chats in its memory without problem.

I hope there's a way to fix this, anyone have any ideas?

I haven't experienced it.

If what you say is true, just use your copy history function earlier in the convo,
