you told me to download DM 4.7 because of my usb issues but nothing happens

you said you didnt know which one to download.
I said 4.7.
you have previously said that the phone still white screens and reboots.

This is a device problem and not a desktop manager problem.

Its generally advised to use a port on the back, as these are direct onto the motherboard, instead of a cable to the motherboard.
try from the back and see what happens.

also there arent any settings for DM, just run the program, then plug the BB in.

the usb at the back does not work at all

is the front usb not putting enough power out,

possibly, but not necessairly.
the fact that a back usb port doesnt work is just worrying for the PC to start with.

i know......i need a new pc

is there a way to change the power output for the usb?.

the usb has worked before i.e charging phone,file transfer

nope.
i would say if its worked before and its a sudden problem, its a problem with the device not the pc.
