Default Javelin to be a modem without additional charge, help me...

Hi all,
I am from Indonesia and still newbie in BB, I bought it 3 days ago. And I have a problem to connect it to computer- windows xp.
I have register using the blackberry service to my operator, xl, and I have abled to use the internet service in BB We'll.
Yesterday, I want to connect it to computer and follow the instruction in this forum's faq.
But if I connect my BB to computer as a modem, I have to pay for the service as the additional charge...
1hen I asked the operator's customer service , he said that my blackberry service that I registered before is limited to the service that using apn of blackberry.net...
Can someone help me make my BB able to connect to my computer as a modem without the additional charge...

Sorry for my bad english... And I really need your help because now I have only BB as the only one internet connection... Thank youMMM

Most carriers will charge extra for tethering (other than tmobile. =]. )

Anyways...

They will charge extra for tethering. You can tether without a tethering plan, but you run the risk os getting a HUGE bill... Tethering is, in theory, a violation of the TOS you signed with your carrier.

Tethering is using your phone/BB as a modem for your computer.

Tethering means it will use your blackberry as a modem to connect to the internet. However, as dankarlinski stated above, there may be additional charges from your carrier. You probably need to ask your carrier.
