Default How to remove write protect from memory card

Please Login to Remove!

I have the 8900 and i use 'sheet to go' (excel) on my bberry. i then take out the memory card and insert it into my laptop and i am able to save the file to my computer. However, if i make any changes to the file on my computer and then try to save those changes to the memory card and stick it back in my bberry, it will not allow me to save the changes back to the card. the computer says that the file is write protected. does anyone know how to take this protection off, so that i can ammend the document on my bberry AND my computer??

Try to save the file with a different name. (Don't use the same file name).

taste this:

use windows search-mode and look at your memory-card:

bbthumbs.dat

delete all.

they are normally non-viewable files and you can find it in every folder of your card
(pictures, videos, documents, aso)

after removing your card these files will be create to new.
