From what I've read so far, there is no reset for the Password Keeper in BB Curve 8900, correct?

If so, if I uninstall the Password Keeper software of my 8900 device and then reinstall the PK and then restore the Password Keeper from a backup that still use my Pearl 8100 PK password, will this allow me to use my previous password that has worked in my Pearl?

I'm not sure if I got your point, but for me it's gonna be more convenient to just change and encode my desired password into my newer 8900 device after I do the backup.

Okay, I got it working.

What I was dong was I restore my old PK data to my new device, change the password, then forgot what the password is. So, I uninstall the PK software and then reinstall then restore the data from the backup and now it is working.
