Default Wi-Fi and internatinal calling question.

Please Login to Remove!

Hello Everyone,

Iam overseas and connected to the wifi uma signal. At home in the US Iam with T-mobile unlimited minutes, blackberry add-on, no hot spot@home. If I make calls from here over UMA to the US will I be charged roaming charges or not? I dont care if minutes get used up as I have unlimited plan but I don't want to pay .99 per minute.

Thanks for the responses.

I have the same set up and as long as you are on UMA, you should not get any charges, just minutes.

To ensure you stay in UMA while talking so the phone doesn't pick up any cell signals, I'd turn off the mobile network and only have wifi active.

Thank you. I will make sure to turn off the network when I decide to make calls.
