Default BB Browser & Google quick search

Please Login to Remove!

Hy people,
im wondering a little bit about my 8900. The google quick search bar do not appear in my blackberry browser. I can't find any option that handles this on the device.

I've also had a look on our BES IT policy, but i can't find a property for this.
On my 8900 runs the latest FW version, 4.6.1.250.

Can anybody give me a hint?

GreeTz, WeeZel

In blackberry browser click options and set uor home page to google. Another option is to download the google app for bb , this will give you separate icon for google showing search screen

Another option would be to install opera mini. This has dedicated google search and is the browser of choice for many bb users. If you have not tried it, you will find it much faster than std bb browser

if you use wifi and switch to the hotspot browser it will automatocally load the go to page with the google search box. Else the above recomendations are a good solution
