Default T-Mobile 8900 tethering?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,
Is there a way to tether my TMO 8900 to my laptop to get internet.

I know the AT&T 8900s do because they're on 3G but I might go on a trip with no internet and my phones weak connection would suffice but I was wondering if it was possible.

If it is, how do I do it?

Thanks

You can tether your Tmo 8900 to your laptop.

The easiest way to set it up is to call TMo customer service. They are very helpful and will have you tethered and running in under 30 min.

[User] HOWTO: Use BlackBerry As Modem For Laptop!

This should still work. I have the same set up from my Pearl(s) to my 8900.

Just used this guide [User] HOWTO: Use BlackBerry As Modem For Laptop! with my 8900 (as with a previous 8700 and an older pearl 8120? and it still works)
