I saw an app a few weeks back that tracks what you spend etc...
but it didn't work on the UK 8900.

Is there any other apps that do this that will work in the UK?

I use MobileCheckbook in the US, don't know if it's available in UK tho...

I've tried some, but it was such a pain to wait for them to start up and open the account and things, that I just use tasks with a "spending" task. Comes up with the T shortcut and then it syncs with my computer, which many of them do not. I can also just can an paste into an email.

Cheap and gets the job done unless you want to be really organized with separate accounts and things.
