Ok, the single most maddening thing about my 8900 to me has to be the profile selector in the top left of the screen. I've played with a few themes, but they all seem to keep it there. Is there a reason I can't just ditch it and have like I was used to on my 8700 - 5 buttons across the bottom?

I like that it is showing me the profile there - i just don't want when i scroll the trackball to select it. It seems I constantly select it when trying to check my mail.

Yes, you'll have to find a theme without that button.
