I know you can change the icons within the menu, but how do you change the 6 icons on the bottom of the blackberry homepage? Is this possible?

With your device on the homescreen with the six icons, press the Menu key once, to go to the full applications screen. From there, you will notice the top row of icons correspond to the six on the homescreen.

So, select an icon below that row, and press Menu > Move, and move it up to the top row, and you will see that icon now appears on the six icon homescreen.
