hi i've resetted my blackberry to factory setttings, otherwise known as "wiping the handheld". i've encountered an issue after the wipe, this was when i added my gmail account as well as my other accounts. i'm currently not receiving any email alerts from my gmail account on my blackberry for approximately a week and i've been receiving about 20 emails a day at the least on this account as i have chhecked on my computer at home several times. i have the same issue with the installed "enhanced gmail plugin" and without it too. for the mean time i was using the gmail application provided for my blackberry but i've got a greater preference for the native email application from blackberry.
is there anything that i can do? does anyone know what the problem is? really appreciate the help.

Pull the battery with the phone on. Leave the battery out for 30 seconds. If that doesn't work try deleting and re-adding the G-mail acct. Double checking that everything is correct. Pulling the battery will re-send the service books and also re-register the device on the network.
