Default Help Please

Hello, a few weeks ago I bought a G1, but couldn't bare it as the battery was awful!
I had unlimited internet and could use email aswell (Not just Gmail, Live aswell).

I've bought a Blackberry 8900, brand new from Ebay. It came through today and i've been trying to set it up.

However it has become apparent that I dont have a data plan. Doesn't my contract already cover it?
I've used my Windows Live email on my G1. So why isn't it allowing me to do so on my Blackberry.

I can't seem to get Apps or anything on it either.

Help, please and thanks.

Welcome to the forums.

You need a BlackBerry data plan. You have a generic data plan.
