So I just got my warranty replacement 8900 from Tmo, the old Curve I had I had no trouble installing any 5.0.... OS on it. For some strange reason with this new replacement when I try to Install any 5.0 OS it keeps on giving me this msg..."The Blackberry Desktop Software does not have BlackBerry Device Software for the device that you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system admin"..

Strange because I'm installing it the same way I installed on my old device, C:Program Files/Common Files/RIM/AppLoader, deleting Vendor.xml and clicking AppLoader.


If anyone has any ideas I would Greatly appriciate it, thanx in advance.

Make sure you have only one DM and only one device OS installed to your PC. Try loading your phone with the PC internet connection off.

Yea the same msg, I tried older DM's, Different OS builds, this is crazy..

After messing around with BBSAK for a bit I managed to get it installed.
