for some reason today the new email message envelope at the top will not go away even though I have checked my messages. Also, now on the intro screen my SMS icon shows a new text message but there is none - I have deleted all my text messages.

The only thing I can think I did different is I was trying to turn on my Google Sync module for this phone and the phone went blank. So, I pulled out the battery and booted it back up.

Then, the new email icon kept showing a new message star until I pulled out the battery again.

What is going on?

PS...I have had this phone about 3 weeks.

thanks for the link....I guess via your link I found out that I thought I had deleted some new messages but inadvertantly SAVED THEM. Thanks again.
