Default 8900 - outlook sync setup problem

Please Login to Remove!

Problem setting up Sync via USB with Blackberry Curve Bold 8900 with Outlook 2007 (Enterprise Edition) on Vista Home Premium 64. Follow the sync process from installation of BB 4.7 Desktop Software right to FINISH with calendars, address book etc. The get error message: MICROFOFT OUTLLOK CONNECTOR ERROR – No available messages stores.
Was advised to re-name Mapi32.dll – could not do this as it’s protected and would allow me to change status in properties. Tried to delete in safe mode – no better. Turned off user account control – no better. Advised to SYSTEM RECOVERY by PC World Tech Guys – bad advice – no difference – just created a lot of work for nothing. Tried with and without Kaspersky Firewall – no difference.

Can anyone help this frustrated new Blackberry user.

Moved to 8900 section.

I think the problem might be the 64 bit Vista. I recall seeing something about that.

You could try a search and see what you find.

Might also download and install DM 5.0. That is the newest version, and see if that will make nice with Vista 64.

Default Still no luck

Thanks but loading 5.0 made no difference. Should I get rid of vista64?
