Default No alert on emails into subfolders

Hi all.

I have my Curve synch'ed with my works email account.

I have a sub folder within my Outlook inbox called Reads on which I have a rule set up which automatically places specific messages in in when they arrive.

My problem is that my Curve doesn't alert me when new messages arrive and are placed in the Reads folder.

Can anyone shed any light on where im going wrong?

Are you on a BES or BIS?

I'm sorry I have no idea. I'be just had a quick search to see if I could find out how to determine which but I cant really see anything conclusive.

a BES is a server, usually within a company.
you are activated on it.
BIS is a personal email plan, by which you log in to BIS to add a personal email.
