When is Blackberry going to come out with an app or an OS update that will integrate all the social network apps(twitter, facebook, msn messenger, aim, myspace and SMS) contacts and address book contacts together. Giving us updates related to those users tweets and facebook updates just like the android and Palm pre OS? Anyways any feedback from the fellow community is appreciated. Just wondering what you guys think of this? Im really waiting on this.

Yeah I wouldn't count on this either. You have to remember, the primary focus of RIM has been the business market, and although the social media integration holds a lot of weight with the consumer market, I don't think complete integration like that will be particularly welcomed by the business community.

Especially not with large companies with BES and strict restrictions on software. Right now, it is easy for them to block the installation of software that could lead to non-work related time, but if it was implemented into the OS they may have a more difficult time.

I just don't see it as likely.

That totally blows...I was really expecting them to come out with something like that soon rather than later just to keep up with the likes of android, pre, and iphone. I mean pretty much like the hardware of their phones but I think their os needs to caught up with the times a bit.

There's a free program on Blackberry App World called Snaptu. I personally haven't tried it but the description says:

"Snaptu is a fast stylish suite of social networking and lifestyle services including Twitter, Facebook, Flikr, Picasa, News from all major providers, Accuweather, Sports, Movies, Sudoku and much more..."
