Default internet help plz

k so i dont have a data plan but i have wifi and i figured out how to connect to the browser with wifi already but i want to go to appworld and it wont let me i think bc i dont have a data plan....is there any other way i can get apps or games on my phone? (8900) my phone is so boring without apps or more games....any ideas plz?

sure, look at mobihand and handango for paid apps, and check out our Aftermarket Software section for lots of paid and free apps.

You don't have to have App World for apps.

where do i find these free apps....and how do i install it to my phone. and does it require a data plan to use these apps? caus esome apps need data plans to work

Where? I said mobihand and handango.

Try placing a ".com" after either for better luck. For example, in your computer browser, type www dot mobihand dot com in the browser and replace "dot" wit a "."

On your PC you will see this link: www.mobihand.com

Each applications is different, some need data plans and some don't. For example a game of solitaire will not, but an app to check the weather might (since it has to pull data on the weather forecast from somewhere).

So your question impossible to answer until you look at each individual app you want.

thanks that helped alot...guess i dont really need app world....but i do have one more question if u can help plz

k so my internet connection is blocked with my service provider... so i went to my bb settings and switched the browser from media.net to hotspot browser.... so i was thinking that it had to do with wifi so i turned wifi on and tried the browser and it then worked...am i getting charged for that? or is wifi actually working and its free... also even after i turned wifi off and the browser was still set to hotspot browser and i went to browser, i still was able to connect to the internet.... am i paying for that as well? cause the wifi wasnt turned on

If you are using the WiFi Hotspot browser, there is no charge.

I have no idea how you were able to connect to the internet if you turned the WiFi connection off.
