Default sending business card via txt

Sorry if this sounds a silly question..

I have just got the blackberry curve8900.

Cant figure out many things yet

But.. most important thing..

How can I send a contacts mobile no: to another contacts mobile?

I used to be able to do this on a standard mpbile phone!!

Surely this must be a simple operation?

Please help.

I don't this exists in the bb world. What I do is start SMS, create an sms, stop and then open the Address Book and I use copy/paste with aid of [ALT] [Esc] to switch between the 2 applications.
