ok this is my first time using any of these programs. so heres where i am and a little stuck.

1. i updated my apps already and was succesul.
2. nowi went to app loader and then went to update software and all it says is my current version and the downgrade version.

can someone tell me y i cant find the OS version i installed on my pc? i didnt do the vendor thing cause i have no idea how to find it and delet it.. someone help plz

If you don't do the vendor thing, then the PC will not see the newer OS to upgrade.

So, don't expect the process to upgrade to work at all unless you (can) follow the directions IN ORDER as written.
