Default How to delete an archived app? - 10-23-2009, 12:35 PM

Hi All just joined you knowlegable lot after getting my 1st BB 8900 the other day.
Right today I downloaded app world which then didnt work, as other topic says by lots of other people. So I connected my BB to my pc & it did loads of software updates which seemed to take forever, when finished I had to swith radio mode? back on to get a signal & then turn the wi-fi back on.
When I go into downloads I have facebook, & facebook archived, How do I delete this archived icon, or do they dissapear on there own over a certain amount of time?
Other thing is since doing this computer update thing my e mails dont come through anymore, even though when I hover above the e mail icon my e mail addy appears?
Any help greatly recieved, I'm starting to pull my hair out.
Thanks
Glyn

you need to menu - restore on the archived app in app world.
then battery pull.

Go into your App World after you have deleted that app you want gone. One in App world go to the icon to the very left (my apps) scroll and you will see the one you deleted come up as "archived" press the menu button then "delete" .. it wont go right away but the nect time you reset your device, it will be gone + you free'd up some internal space.
