Default used "JL_Cmdr" to wipe my 8900 and now i have 507 error. PLEASE HELP - 10-25-2009, 05:27 PM

I'm scared i may have broken my blackberry. I wiped my 8900 using JL_Cmdr and now i have a white screen that says "reload software: 507"

I plugged my BB into DM but DM isen't seeing it. can someone please help me i hope i diden't break my phone :(

You need to download the OS for your phone and install it

I seen in another forum i was suppose to go to Application Loader regaurdless if DM does or doesn't detect my BB. I have it applying the 4.6 Core and whatever else check boxes i clicked .. I will let you know how it turns out. Thx anyway TTsoldier

Do not use the Desktop Manger program. Just use the Loader.exe that can be found in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\AppLoader. I would also do it with the battery removed and just teh device connected to your computer via the USB cable.

Go to the yellow sticky at the top of the 8900 section and find the latest OS for your device and the instructions for installing it. Follow them exactly and be patient. It can take an hour or longer to complete.

Yes!! I used the loader.exe and it worked
everything is good.
