Default Pay& Go Opps No WiFi or Net - 11-02-2009, 01:56 PM

Hello,
Right my problem is i bought an 8900 off a friend 2 weeks old on "02" so i assumed my 02 Pay&go sim would work fine "opps" after reading up on this site "Which has been Very usefull may i add" i found out pay&go sim card wont work with blackberry base net applications.

Will this link to my Wifi Problem? as i have connected my handset with 2 diffrent routers it connects fine and comes up under my carriar name with the name of the router its connected to but theres still no internet or facebook?

Also will a rolling Contract work fine in a blackburry? Im not tight i just dont like being tied down as i like to find the best offers.

a Simplicity O2 rolling day contract SIm only plan, does have the option to add the blackberry bolt on; so yes this would work.

Okays....Bit of Closer on this thread seems as no one really seemed to hit the nail on the head so to speak.

Turns out BB smart phone dont work on "pay & Go" unless there are methods of which i dont know. The only Network in the UK that ive found that does is Orange and they do allow you the option of adding Blackburry Services to your Pay & Go Sim.

Feel Free to correct me if im wrong......but by tonight i should fingers crossed have a pay & go blackburry 8900 with Internet etc... (If Orange are Correct in what they say)

Yes, Orange are the only network to offer blackberry services on PAYG.
On a Simplicity (SIM ONLY) plan from O2, you CAN add blackberry services.
This is the rolling 30 day contract you mentioned originally.
