By setting an Alert you mean what exactly?

I'm able to change "Alerts", through my Profiles settings. But setting an actual Alert, I can't seem to find it either.

Deepak -

Actually when u look under options against a contact you have an option as "set alert" which alerts you when the contact is available .
this is when the contact is not available and teh message shows it in not delivered or answered

I think you have to look at the contact's profile to see if they're available with the new BBM.
