It's currently still in beta.
The beta is running pretty stable, running alone and with third party apps. But if you were to ask me, it would seem to me pretty soon as far as I can tell.

I'm running: 5.0.0.314 (beta of course.)

A bit of advice if I may. If your device is working as you wish, with no problems, you might want to think twice before you upgrade. there will be issues to work around and some apps might not be compatible. Be prepared for that if you choose to do the deed.

Exactly. I've run into a couple of apps that won't run (for the majority running smooth), the only other thing I've noticed is not being able to set a Default homepage for my browser.

If you're aiming Beta do at your own risk and read up on it before you take any actions, to know how to fix it or revert back if you hit a snag.

OS 5 is not officially out yet.
Desktop manager version bears no relation to device software version.

I upgraded to 5.0 and here are the few things I have ran across............

If I get a new message (SMS/MMS/BBM/Yahoo IM) when I try to read the message it takes me to the last read message. I have to scroll up then back to the unread message to open it.

When I get a Yahoo IM and read the message it does not mark it read. The red light stays on.

Other than that everything else runs ok with 5.0.
