Exclamation Different SMS symbols for OS 5 - 11-08-2009, 11:12 AM

I just started using OS 5 on my T-Mobile 8900. I love the threaded SMS function but am confused as there now seem to be two different kinds of SMS.

Most of my SMS conversations have a blue "dialog bubble" symbol that has lines in it. This turns white when opened. These messages DO NOT show up in my messenger conversations list. The other kind had a little black "cell phone" symbol next to it and these DO show up in messenger.

I can't figure out why these are different and how I can make all my SMS show up in my messenger folder.

Has anyone else seen this or know the difference?

Thanks.

Are the "other ones" that dont show in messenger, from contacts that are NOT on your blackberry messenger?
