Default browser issue

I tried to set up a default home page in the option. but whenever I open the browser, it just goes to the default page "about:start". when I browse something and go to menu->home, it does go to the default home page I set.

anyone know what's wrong?

Try a hard reset and try again. If the browser home page is still the default blackberry home page, navigate independently to your desired home page, then try selecting "home" from the menu, and repeat a few times if you have to.

Sometimes what you are seeing has happened to me. Playing with it as I describe above somehow clears the pipes, so to speak.

You might also try clearing cache, etc.
