| Do you carry the device in your pocket? If so, there is probably dirt or lint under the ball. Turn your device OFF. Press and roll the trackball all around, in all directions for a minute or more. Continue pressing and blow some "canned air" all around it. Release. Turn the device back on and see if it works. If so, you are good to go and don't carry it in your pocket.
