Default Password Problem

Please Login to Remove!

My daughter has changed her password but cant reenter it to unlock Blackberry . She has entered incorrectly 7 times and we have been told after 10 failures it resets but all memory is lost . Can anyone help please ??

Unfortunately, there isn't any way to help.
If the password has been forgotten, then the only recourse is to allow the device to be wiped (erasing all data) and then starting over.

Thanks Penguin. Please excuse my ignorance but what would happen if the Police found a Blackberry at a Crime Scene and wanted to get into the phone. They wouldnt have a Password. Surely theres a back up system ???

There's no "backup system". The Police would not be able to circumvent the security of the BlackBerry device.
This is one reason why BlackBerry devices are used by many government agencies and high-profile companies with sensitive data to protect. BlackBerry security is pretty much unbreakable.
