You are out of luck. Once the code is entered improperly that many times, the device is permanently locked.

After ten incorrect entries the device will lock to branded carrier, permanently. You cannot unlock it, at that point.

The only solution is an in-factory unlock with the device sent to RIM.

Sorry, not good news, but it's the way it works.

I wonder, does anyone know if it cost anything to ship it to RIM and have it unlocked?
or just a pain and a month without a phone?
