I do not know if anyone else has raised this as an issue.
I have just recently had a replacement BB 8900 from my service provider Orange. This is operating on Version 4.6.1.310 of the OS.
Since taking this new 8900 into service I appear to be having an annoying problem with the SMS.
Receiving SMS is OK, new ones appear in colour and bold until read when the envelope icon is greyed out.
Sending SMS is OK with a tick appearing when sent and a delivery report letter D when sending new SMS.
However when I forward SMS, they appear as though they were new messages, coloured envelope until open and then it greys out, and it will then show the list of recipients. I cannot tell from the main screen if they have been sent so I have sent the same messages 2 or 3 times. My service provider 2nd line tech support after a complete wipeout and reinstall now say it’s the new version OS.
Help please!!! I want to get back to the old system of forwarding SMS.

i have a same problem where if i forward a sms it appears in bold as unread SMS. normal sending sms works fine. only forward sms appears as unread instead of check mark.

Please suggest something on this.
