Welcome to the forums.

Order a new housing for your device and replace it. It's pretty simple to do.

Thanks for your help! Uhh, just a few more questions. Where would i order the housing from? If its from my service provider, i bought this unlocked phone off ebay... so that cant be an option.

Could you give me a link to a site that sells one for a decent price?

Next, how do i go about replacing it? i took off the battery cover, and there are some special screws. Would i need a special screw driver? I need to know everything,

This is all really appreciated! Thanks!

Yes, you would need special tools. You can get them pretty cheap as well.

You can find housing online all over the place, including eBay.

I would recommend Horizon Wireless: 8900 Javelin Curve : HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, The World’s Cellular Repair Center

You can also check CNN : 8900 - Cellular Nationwide Network - Cellular Accessories - 3G, Sony, Panasonic, LG, SonyEricsson,

Keep in mind, they come from China so it may take a while before you get it.

For instructions, check YouTube for disassembly instructions. They usually have some good ones on there..

This should help: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f39y-x3YkG0

Thanks! Dam your good. 11 thousand posts too! I viewed your links, and did a bit of searching of mine and found several ebay links which offer the tools as well as the case for a mere 20 bucks. Comes from china as well. They have a lot of good feedback so im assuming its good.

Will be bookmarking the tut,
