My phone is acting strangely. At irregular times the camera will turn on without any contact to the side camera button. It will also snap a picture.

Sometimes this happens once and stops, sometimes so repeatedly that i cannot access any other applications as the camera will just keep booting up and over-riding whatever it is that I'm doing.

I have tried taking out the battery and rebooting. No, the camera has not gotten wet. No new blackberry messenger or Google app. Any ideas?

Even though you say that the phone hasnt gotten wet, im betting it did get some kind of moisture damage. if a battery pull or reset doesnt solve the problem, it probably isnt a software issue
