We use a webpage (ASP) which allows reps fill in their timesheets and submit them every Friday. They normally do this on a daily basis - Fill in the day\hours and submit the form on a Friday

This works fine on the 8310 however it doesn't work on the 8900. When you fill in the details on an 8900 and save the page it appears in your inbox as a weblink. However all the data that was entered gets deleted............this doesn't happen on 8310's\8110's

Any ideas why this would happen

Enable scripts from browser options. You may also try changing the browser id to something else than blackberry (firefox or ie).

Are you absolutery sure it displays correctly on the 8310/8110? asp pages are dynamic and generated on demand. it only makes sense that you get a vanilla version of the submit page every time you visit the link.

This shouldn't be the case..........the 8310/8110 devices are working correctly

Blackberries own documentation says : "A saved webpage displays content that was current at the time that you saved the webpage". This is what the older devices are doing.

I have tried enabling most browser options by now but nothing is working. Its exactly like you say......a new, blank page is loaded when you click the web link
