Default Faulty Default Email

Please Login to Remove!

My default address used to send emails differ based on the contact I'm sending to.

I've set the default (Options - Advanced Options - Default Services - CMIME) to my gmail address, yet when I send emails so some contacts another address is used.

Can anyone explain this or help to fix this?

Blackberry will remember the last known configuration you used with a contact.
i.e. if SMS was last used, when composing it will automatically use SMS.

Same with email. If the last known email for Contact A was abc, but your default is xyz; it will remember abc until you send an email from xyz, and then it will remember xyz.

The BB remembers what you used the last time you sent to "that" destination email address.

EDIT: MD beat me to it... sorry
