Low Keyboard brightness :-( HELP!

Hi, i recently got a new curve 8900, the keyboard brightness is very very low compared to Bold and other BB models, isn't there any way to increase it? I tried to search everywhere for the solution but no use...any suggestions?? :-( I sometimes have to stare for a few secs to make sure i am typing the correct key..:cry:
