My Mom's Blackberry 8900 Having Issues

My Mom and I have the same Blackberry (8900)/Javelin. Recently, beginning this past Thursday, the flash on the camera has been staying on and it's not going off. Therefore, after many attempts to take out the battery and re-boot up the phone; it has still been unseccussful. If anyone has any of these problems or has had these problems and have fixed them, please post explaining how you have done so.

Thank you.

If it is still in warranty, you might consider returning it for a replacement.

Yeah, we don't have the warranty on them though.

If you got the phone from AT&T and it's less than a year old, it's covered under warranty. We're not talking about the extra $5 a month for warranty; this is standard with any new phone.

Back up her data, take it to an AT&T store, and they will help you order another phone.

Disclaimer: You will not get a new phone. It will be a refurb, but generally in like-new condition. It will LOOK new, and will have the same warranty expiration as the first 8900. You don't get a longer warranty with a replacement phone.
