Default 8900 Keeps Shutting Off! Please Help!!

Please Login to Remove!

I've had my 8900 for about a year and a half now, I was at work yesterday, where it is excessively hot? (If that's a contributing factor), and my blackberry was in my pocket, and the next thing I knew it was off. SO, I pulled the battery, put it in, turned it on and it turned on like normal. Then, as it was loading and what not I could scroll around. None of my other buttons would work, except for the scrolling on the trackball, then it turns off after about a minute, and I do it all over again. I tried plugging it into my computer, and it's as if it doesn't even recognize it. Help?

Wirelessly posted

People have reported moisture damage from exposure in a sweaty pocket. From your story that was my first thought. I would remove the battery and give it time to dry out. Take a look at http://blackberryfaq.com/index.php/G...ckBerry_Wet%3F.
