New to BB 8900 ....Help me out ASAP plzzzz...
 

:bb: Just got BB 8900 Curve here in China. The one I got is not chinese but original. My camera and all graphics are kindda hazzy i.e a pic seems as if it's a negative film or something. I even updated the software but the problem persists. Other thing is the maps. How can I get the maps in it?? I mean how to use the GPS??

Did you pull the protective film off of the screen? Could be a defective screen.

Please read your user guide and check out the GPS & Mapping section for info on GPS.

I would try Google Maps...the gps function works well!

i've personally never even tried the BB maps function and have removed the application.

google maps??? I've tried alot to download the google maps into the handheld but the browser shuts down. Dont know if thats the handheld problem!
Nope the graphics are still not working. I've removed the protective covering but the problem is as it was. When i take a photo it seems to be negative in the cell but when i get it transfered to the computer it's all right. Means there's a problem in the handheld graphics! How do I get it fixed??? Thanks

Return it for another.

And add a BB data plan so you can use GoogleMaps.
