Question Wont let me Unhide my folders! :S

Please Login to Remove!

hey guys, recently my 8900 has done something strange, all my folders have become HIDden! and i went to media>explore>media card> show hidden and they all show up but when i chose properties to try and unhide, the box saying 'hidden' is unselectable and i cant uncheck it.

if i go to media, music, show songs it says no songs but if i explore i can find and play one song at a time.....same with pictures, and videos.

also, my ringtones are still active (as in they still play when i get a call) but i cant see them in the ringtone folder.

furthermore, when i hook it up to my pc and explore (i have the option to 'show hidden folders' on) i see no folders! at first i would see one folder 'Blackberry' but oddly enough it was an .exe file :O what is going on?!

now, if i take a picture or video, it says 'saving' but its nowhere to be found on my bb.

please help!! thanks in advance!

I wonder if this is the same issue as in the following thread

"Media Help: Hiding Pictures"

It says to change the view in the file browsing app rather than the media app. It will be great if this fixes it. File management on the device/media card memory is still pretty awkward from the bb itself...
