Default Receiving Text Messages

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum, first post. Anyways, I find something very annoying with my Blackberry 8900. Everytime I receive a long or lengthy text, it gets broken down into 2-3 different messages, depending on the length of the text. Is there a way to consolidate the text messages (regardless of how long it is) into one message? I have unlimited text so I'm not worried about cost. It's just that sometimes the text messages gets fragmented. Like I'll received the 2nd text before I receive the 1st.

Thanks.

If its being sent SMS, then there is a 160 character limit. You could use MMS or a third party SMS like Beyond160.

the BB should put the texts in order though (provided that the sending cell phone marks them properly, and that the sms service center receives and then sends them in the correct order)

I just use email for everything - Google Voice is amazing.

MMS is also a good option.
