Default 8900 Curve Hangs After App Update

Please Login to Remove!

After accepting an update to an App, my 8900 Curve just hangs, and the egg-timer (or Blackberry equivalent) displays in the centre of the screen.

I have tried removing the battery, and a soft/hard reset with 'Alt-Shift-Del' but when it returns to life, the egg-timer just continues displaying.

I have left the phone in this state over night (cos I know that Blackberrys can take a long time to boot up) but still left with the egg-timer.

HELP!!!

Looks like you need to wipe the device.

OR if you are lucky, you might be able to remove the specific COD files from the device that the app installed..

Try loading up BBSAK and rrading a "read device". that will show you a list of all the cod files installed. try to find the ones installed by this app you're having problems with.

see if you can remove them.

If not, just wipe the device and reinstall.

the new .882 build is amazing.
